On Thursday, June 21st, 2018, Staten Island artist and music business professional, Jordan Barone, releases his debut single, “Same Thing” followed by his debut EP, in late 2018, on Red Planet Records, LLC. Both serve as premier releases for the award-winning artist and the Staten Island, NY independent record label.

Barone’s solemn, yet playful artistic melody of “Same Thing", focuses on the isolation founded on trepidation in moving forward with love due to past failed relationships. Supported by Amber Lee’s responsive harmonies, the track concludes in a loop of reflective callbacks, symbolic of Jordan’s reluctance to be drawn back to the “Same Thing”.

"Same Thing" is made possible (in part) by a DCA Premier Grant from Staten Island Arts, with public funding from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
